The Taman Negara rainforest is considered to be around 130 million years old, and harbours a bewildering array of wildlife.

You cannot fail to be excited by the frenetic energy of Kuala Lumpur but walking through the tree tops spying beautifully coloured kingfishers and elusive monkeys is just as enchanting.

To top it off, a relaxing couple of days at the beaches of Langkawi is enough to completely lull you into the tropical lifestyle.

Day 1 : Kuala Lumpur

Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 : Taman Negara Rainforest

This is one of the world’s oldest rainforests and has remained intact and unaffected by ice ages, earthquakes or other cataclysms for over 130 million years! A ‘must-do’ is the canopy walk above the rainforest.

Day 3 : Taman Negara

After breakfast, trek along the nature trail to Teresek Hill and a view of Mouth Tahan.

Free at leisure for the rest of the day - join a boat trip to Lata Berkoh for a swim or simply enjoy the wonders of nature available in this park.

Day 4 : Kuala Lumpur

Day 5-7 : Langkawi Tours
